Powerful Winter Storm
That’s how the weather peeps describe what the Catholic Family is about to experience, complete with 6-10 inches of drifting snow and near whiteout conditions. Good thing I’ve got plenty of things to keep me busy while snowed in this weekend (website consulting, bill paying, banking, laundering, bathroom cleaning, elliptical riding, dusting, vacuuming, reading, contributing to the online retail industry, movie watching, etc.) Catch up time has arrived!
Speaking of… this morning would be a good time to pay a visit to a favorite bookstore, Barnes & Noble. I’ve been reading Foxtrot with the Catholic Kids during our nightly reading time, and we just finished Bill Amend’s Wildly Foxtrot collection. So here’s hoping Who’s Up for Some Bonding? will be in stock, because that’s exactly what we’ll be doing this weekend… bonding. Or something like that.
Meanwhile, Smokie has plans of her own for the day. (And I have room cleaning plans for Catholic Girlie.)

Hope you’re safe and snug and doing some family bonding! Enjoy your catch-up time. There’s nothing like a snowy weekend to force you to do those things you’re always putting off, like relaxing!
Is it snowing now? How bout now? Now?
I’m pretty sure The Husband has uttered “get out of the draw, cat” once before too.
Very cute!
@mannyed: The snow is everywhere now. In fact I just posted some photos on my Flickr account. (And I took them all from my window, can you believe it?) BTW: So how do you get Manny out of the drawer? Pulling doesn’t work… we found out.
@Ami: Bonding and bathroom-cleaning-procrastination. As soon as I get myself away from this computer, let the scrubbing begin. :/
