Budgies Budgies Everywhere
For the second weekend in a row, the Catholic family and I ventured out to the zoo to experience the latest local rage: BUDGIES. What are budgies? Well, if you take a look at the video you will see that they are nothing more than colorful little birds, the kind you see in pet stores everywhere. Only here you see that we’re in a tent chalk full of those buggers, armed with birdseed sticks for feeding purposes. Unfortunately, the budgies seemed to be more interested in nibbling on our shoelaces. Huh?

So how many times were you asked “Mom, Can we get a bird?”
@Nadine: I blocked it out after the first several times… no birds in the house, thanksverymuch.
The video won’t play for me in its entirety, but from what I saw, they look so awesome!! I WANT ONE!
They look like my first parakeet. Maybe my sister in law bought me a budgie instead.
Hubby bought me a parakeet for our first Sweetest Day. Loved that little bird! I think it’s cool that you can go to the zoo to play with them!
@mannyed: What? It won’t play all the way through?? *sigh* Oh well, you got the idea anyway.
So if you got one, would Manny mind?
@CalmDragon: Yep. You got budgied.
@Pam: Me too! I’ll let the zoo staff take care of them for us. Much easier that way.
