You’re not going to believe this, but I just received a call from Walt Disney World, Florida. They love, love, LOVED the write-up I sent them about Jacob, our fab concierge from the Disney resort and forwarded it to his leadership team so that he would get the recognition he deserved. Disney is happy CS received his Yeti, thanks to Jacob’s fast-acting-concierge-reflexes. Not only that, but they personally thanked me for taking the time to acknowledge Jacob’s professionalism.

Way to go! I’m sure way too many people take service like that for granted. But it is always nice to recognize it when it happens. I bet it makes his day.

@AITCD: I sure hope so. He was great from the moment we stepped in the door, and you don’t see that kind of service very often these days.

Maybe he’ll get a bonus? Promoted? Yeah, I like that idea.

You know managers love it when they get to praise work well done, as too many times people will write to complain but not to praise so this makes there day.

Hope you arent too tired from a long night out. Roo is fast asleep already…and pics of Halloween Roo style are now up.

@Hollie: I agree and hope it made his day. I’m not one to complain… almost to a fault. But praise? I’m really good at that.

@Gina: If only we could see his face! And check out the Yeti picture—I just uploaded it to Flickr since it didn’t seem to make the cut earlier, probably due to the 500+ mass upload. Isn’t he cute? Looks kinda like a white cupie doll with blue hands/feet, doesn’t he?

@sol: We did, and just missed the tropical storm down south. How’s that for timing?
