Bookclub Startup!

ITCM is officially starting up a bookclub, and you want to be in it. Trust me! Here’s the plan:

Create the ‘Chicken Lit’ instruction page with information about the bookclub.
Solicit Book-of-the-Moment recommendations from blog visitors.
Post the Book-of-the-Moment and welcome members to begin reading.
Open a forum for discussion/comments on club book.

Yes, it’s that simple! So give me a little bit of time to get this thing started, and then check back often because I want you to be involved in the new bookclub adventure.

The only name I could come up with is kinda snide: The Chicken Lit Club. Just… because, it’s silly.

The Chicken Lit Club

I think it’s a winner. The hubs and I have been talking about it this morning, and it beats the alternative: Let’s Get Lit Club. That’s all I could think of until your suggestion. (Aside from ‘Blogger Readerville’.)

@Pam/Nadine/Gina/Red-T: I decided against the ‘Get Lit’ name, because well, ‘Blogger Readerville’ came with theme music. (Which explains where I got the name idea, see?) Plus ‘Get Lit’ might invite too many bad searches to my site. (Thanks for the reminder, Hubs.)
