Final Wrap-Up: Agnes and the Hitman

I finally finished reading all 368 pages of our first bookclub book, and *whew* my head’s spinning! From the looks of it, only 3 readers were in on this read. The few, the proud - right? We shared a good experience, I’ll say. So now let’s go ahead and open up the discussion and share any thoughts you’d like to share about Book #1.
Personally, this was my favorite dialog between Agnes, Dr. Garvin, & Taylor:
… and then Dr. Garvin said, Agnes.
Where the hell have you been?
You haven’t been listening. Don’t threaten people in front of witnesses, Agnes.
But it’s okay to threaten them otherwise? What are you, Dr. Garvin’s evil twin?
“What were you saying, Agnes?” Taylor said, his smile widening.
“I was saying you’re an evil moron whom fate and karma are going to take care of,” Agnes said. “Now your line is ‘Who’s Fate and Karma, and what did I ever do to them?’”
What’s yours? Anything you want to talk about in depth?
This post opens up the second week of discussion on the book #1 of the Chicken Lit bookclub: Agnes and the Hitman.
