Slightly Off Kilter
That would be me after a long day of fasting and feeling all faint during Ash Wednesday’s mass, then eating a tuna melt at Culver’s that I felt the need to work off on the elliptical afterwards. Who pulled the dumb there? And it only got better at 2:00 a.m. when a little voice woke me up with “Mom, I peed the bed.”
Okee dokee! One less set of sheets to change on laundry day.
Even after 2 cups of espresso, I’m still feeling a bit off this morning. Yet meanwhile, life continues onward because the world doesn’t just stop after someone pees the bed and wakes up Mom in the middle of her peaceful slumber. It’s true, I just checked.
Oh, about that bookclub read? My copy should arrive today, and you can expect the timeline to go up soon after. Join in for the greater good and the chance to win a fancy parting gift: Chicken Lit Tile Coaster

Finished off last night with a salmon filet at Jimmy’s cafe. Haven’t had coffe in over a month. Maybe some this weekend. That is what I bought that little brewmaster thingy for…
I felt so blah on Thursday, too. It probably was from the fasting, I had a smoothie for dinner and my tummy was not happy. I had a splitting headache, too. But I survived.
Can you let me know the title of book # 3 so I can grab a copy this weekend? I wanna finally join in! :o)
@CD - Woo, salmon. And no coffee for over a month? You’ll be bouncing off the walls this weekend.
@Gina - I think we felt some of Jesus’ pain on Wednesday… err, just a wee bit? We acheived what we were supposed to feel anyway - woohoo!
Book #3: Science Fiction book by Lois McMaster Bujold called “Barrayar”. (If the danged thing would ever show up on my doorstep - I ordered it via Amazon last week.)
So glad you can join in the fun.
